As much as I hate to see this beauty go, go it must.

I've owned this bike about 15 years. I found it in a barn in Western Nebraska wearing the license plate you see on it still (1976). I put gas in it and it started. I rode it around for a few weeks and it ran great. then I started to restore it. I sent the body work to a professional that has done many nortons before. he painted and decaled it. i bought lots of new parts, mostly chrome stuff like the muffs and headlight ears. Then I had unobtainable parts rechromed (like the headlight). As you can see it looks great and is almost comlete. I located a good downpipe to replace a dented one, but never completed putting it together. I've still got some new pieces as pictured, and a complete extra gasket/seal set.
Early Commandos are easily the best looking due to the drum brake. Sure, later commies had electric start and disk brakes, but that's not what you buy a true classic for.
Only 6070 true miles.
